Historic Room -

Historic Rooms are located in buildings that were designed by
architect Julia Morgan and built between 1913 and 1928. Each room
features hardwood floors, rustic California furnishings and private
baths – and their size and quantity of beds vary from one single bed
to two double beds. All of the historic lodging buildings have a
common living room, with a fireplace, for lounging and reading.

Standard (Upgraded) Asilomar Room Several of the Asilomar Room types are
located in buildings designed by architect John Carl Warnecke and
built in a style complementary to that of Julia Morgan's. Asilomar
Rooms are more contemporary than the Historic Rooms and include a
private bathroom and shower. Some also have a patio or balcony, and
some feature a fireplace. Size and quantity of beds vary in rooms,
but the most common combinations are: two double beds; one double
and one single bed; one queen and one single bed; or four single
beds.
